8 THINGS I WISH I HAD KNOWN WHEN I WAS YOUNGER

8 THINGS I WISH I HAD KNOWN WHEN I WAS YOUNGER

Remember when your were young and you couldn't wait to grow up? Heck, I remember when I couldn't wait to drive... nowadays I wish I have a (free) 24 hour Lyft driver. Our younger years is a series of complicated experiences that brings a various mixture of desires, joy and struggles. I often hear people say "If I could go back in time to change everything I did - I would make it better."  Who wouldn't want to have their very own time-traveling Delorean. After writing my DEAR BABY ANT blog, which is a letter to my younger self, it became clear I wanted to address a few other things about life. The very things that I wish I knew when I was younger. Just to be clear, I have no regrets at all. I love my life. Everything I have and lack off is what makes me who I am. Some of the things I will address will sound familiar from my other blogs, so I apologize if I sounds like a broken record. So lets continue...

THE MOMENT I REALIZED I DIDN'T WANT MY SAFE JOB ANYMORE

THE MOMENT I REALIZED I DIDN'T WANT MY SAFE JOB ANYMORE

I tried the 40+ hour work week stuck in one spot, and thought that being successful with a good job would make me happy. But ultimately it didn't at all. One day I decided that this all just didn’t make sense. That was the day I started saving up to travel for long periods at a time. I have since owned my own businesses, invested my money in other ventures and found part time jobs. I decided to take what I like to call an "adult gap life" (yes, I made that up - my version of a gap year but for the whole duration of adult life). And for the first time in my life I felt absolutely excited about everyday, about every encounter, about every experience.

I BELIEVE IN ST. NICK!! A TRUE ROCKY BALBOA STORY

I BELIEVE IN ST. NICK!! A TRUE ROCKY BALBOA STORY

At an early age, I started dedicating my falls and winters to Philadelphia Eagles football. We all know that moment for a young kid, deciding on whose jersey we will be wearing and who we would be emotional invested in on Sundays. Yes, It's a pretty big deal since we will be part of this "family" for the rest of our lives. I've always identify strongly with friends, family, and other things I belong to and even played multi-sports as a kid, cheering on my favorite sports teams gave me a very a strong sense of connection and belonging.

10 THINGS I GAVE UP IN EXCHANGE FOR HAPPINESS

10 THINGS I GAVE UP IN EXCHANGE FOR HAPPINESS

WHAT IS HAPPINESS?

Most of us probably don't believe we need a formal definition of happiness. We know when we feel it and we often use it to describe a range of emotions, including  joy, gratitude and contentment. Happiness does not happen overnight. They are based on habits and our mindset. While most of my friends thinks I'm at higher state of happiness it's far from the truth. My Instagram (like most people) are just a highlight reel of moments of happiness. I'm not always on an adventure. My days are almost NEVER perfect.

DEAR BABY ANT...

DEAR BABY ANT...

Dear BABY ANT,

I write to you as I continue to struggle with this thing called LIFE. If I could go back in time and give you any advice, it would be to put stuff out into the world more frequently and to be less afraid of how it turns out. Don't be afraid of pushing boundaries a little further and to trust that the limit of what’s possible is so much further away than it feels. YOU HAVE MORE TALENTS THAN YOU KNOW.

NO LISTS. JUST MORE ADVENTURES.

NO LISTS. JUST MORE ADVENTURES.

I've been asked what my resolution for this New Year is, and my answer is always the same... "I don't really set them." Personally for me, I'm not into labels and attachments, so I don't feel the need to set a certain goal at this time of the year. Especially  when there are aspects of my life that I'm already currently trying to conquer first.

HOW I CREATED MY "BEST NINE" WITH CHANGE

HOW I CREATED MY "BEST NINE" WITH CHANGE

Happy New Years everyone. Earlier last week I started to look back on what I had done this year and throughout the month I would share some highlights. Of course there were several adventures, places and views that stood out to me. So, when I had a look at my "best nine" to help me narrow things down I was surprised at how different those moments were compared to my life 3 years ago after I decided that CHANGE was much needed in my life.
